Wildview Consulting is

You do not have to pay for
features which the database has, but which you are never going to use.
There is no need for you to
adapt your way of working to suit the operation of the database.
The database is designed and built so that it conforms to the way you
work. However, the database is
designed and built in such a way as to enable you to work more efficiently and
quickly and to produce reports etc with a minimum of input (for example, a date
range may be needed), at the click of a button.
The Wildview Database
Philosophy is simply this:-
The
less work the user has to do the better.
This makes for better
and more consistent data and happier and more contented users.
Data input screens always offer automatic formatting of name and address
and other input fields. This
formatting can be turned off, if desired, at the click of a button.
The screens also offer automatic lookup of postcodes.
Reporting and other
database outputs are automated as much as possible. Reports and graphs can be simply exported to Excel if
required. Emails can be sent
directly from the database, together with attachments, if this feature is
needed. Excel macros can be written
to enable automatic formatting of any Excel reports.
Comprehensive search
facilities are also provided to enable quick and easy lookup of required
records. For example, searching can
be done on postcode, town, surname or any combination of variables which you
require. Records retrieved by the
search are displayed in a drop-down list. You
then just click on the required record, which is then immediately displayed on
the screen.

It is recognised that
often you will never think of everything you want at the time the database is
designed and built. This is a part
of life. It is not until you have
been using the database for a while that you might think something like
“I
wish the database could do this or that, as it would save me time and
make
my life easier.“
Wildview databases are
designed and built in such a way so that they are easy to modify or extend, with
the addition of extra features.
In some cases your existing database may be basically
satisfactory. However, it might not
be very user-friendly, or you may wish that it could do more for you.
Wildview has had extensive experience in modifying and enhancing existing
databases and improving their functionality.
